National Health Mission to Inspect Muzaffarpur Wellness Centres on Thursday

A central team from the National Health Mission will inspect health facilities in Muzaffarpur, including PHCs and Sadar Hospital, to review service delivery.

Muzaffarpur: A team from the National Health Mission (NHM) is scheduled to visit Muzaffarpur, Bihar, on Thursday, June 12, to inspect the functioning of Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs), and the Sadar Hospital. The inspection will be led by senior officials from Delhi, including the NHM Director.

The team will cover facilities located between Kudhni and Gaighat blocks. In preparation for the visit, a video conference was held on Tuesday with officials at the state headquarters, during which clear instructions were given to ensure thorough readiness.

The Civil Surgeon has directed all PHC in-charges to ensure cleanliness and to maintain the availability of essential test kits and medicines. Health centres have also been asked to prepare reports detailing the number of patients treated and the range of services provided. The aim is to present a transparent picture of service delivery across the district’s public health infrastructure.
