Patna: Neha Singh Rathore, known for her vocal opinions and viral content, has shared her thoughts on Operation Sindoor after India’s targeted airstrikes against terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The posts, made on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), have quickly gained traction, with “Jai Hind” and “Ek Chutki Sindoor” becoming key phrases linked to the airstrike’s aftermath.
In her first post, Rathore expressed clear support, writing “Indian Army Zindabad… Jai Hind”. This message, while patriotic, comes after a wave of political and public reactions to the Indian Air Force’s midnight operation, which destroyed nine terrorist launch pads linked to various banned organizations. Rathore’s quick endorsement of the government’s military action follows the Pahalgam attack, where 90 militants were reportedly killed in the airstrikes.
While her posts were largely seen as supportive, Rathore’s outspoken views in the past have often sparked controversy. The singer has made comments on previous attacks that led to legal repercussions. This time, however, her posts were brief and in line with a broader national sentiment, avoiding the strong political discourse that typically surrounds her more provocative statements.
The operation, which targeted Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba training camps, has garnered widespread support within India, including from both ruling party leaders and opposition figures. Many have praised the strikes as an act of justice for the Pahalgam incident, where Indian forces suffered casualties in a terrorist ambush.
Although Rathore’s post seems to have stayed within acceptable bounds, her comments in the past have led to ongoing scrutiny. As tensions rise between India and Pakistan, figures like Rathore continue to shape public discourse with their immediate, often viral, reactions.
