New Recreational Facilities Unveiled at Shaheed Veer Kunwar Singh Azadi Park and Rajdhani Vatika in Patna

Patna: Shaheed Veer Kunwar Singh Azadi Park and Rajdhani Vatika have been equipped with new facilities aimed at boosting recreational and sporting opportunities for children, players, and adventure enthusiasts.

In Part- 2 of Shaheed Veer Kunwar Singh Azadi Park, five cricket pitches have been revamped with fencing, PCC, and turf wickets. This initiative, costing Rs 20,32,580, is designed to provide affordable facilities for children and players to learn and practice cricket. Additionally, a topiary garden has been developed using Topari Frames, featuring tree and plant sculptures shaped like animals such as lions, tigers, dinosaurs, rhinoceroses, and elephants, among others. The garden, which cost Rs 7,13,452, is expected to draw significant attention from visitors, particularly children.

Meanwhile, Part- 3 of Rajdhani Vatika has been transformed into an Adventure Park with the installation of a Rope Course, climbing walls, and a zipline as its central attractions. Inaugurated features include the Burma Bridge, Zig-Zag Bridge, Suspension Bridge, and Net Bridge, designed to provide tourists with thrilling yet safe sporting activities.

In response to the growing popularity of adventure sports, the facility now also offers a zip cycle, adding another layer of excitement to the Rope Course activities.
