
Patna: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Patna, marked a proud milestone on Friday as it hosted its Graduation Showcase 2025, celebrating the creativity and innovation of its latest cohort. A total of 192 students graduated this year, completing a significant chapter in their academic and creative journey.
Colonel Rahul Sharma, Director of NIFT Patna, extended his congratulations to the graduating batch of 2025, commending their dedication, resilience and accomplishments.
The event was graced by the presence of Giriraj Singh, Union Minister of Textiles, who attended as Chief Guest. His presence underlined the growing importance of India’s design and textile sectors and the role young professionals will play in shaping their future.
The Graduation Project Exhibition offered a vibrant cross-section of work from across departments. The Textile Design department presented TANTU, a showcase of rich fabric innovations, while COMMUNIQUE from Fashion Communication highlighted digital storytelling and visual narratives. The Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories (F&LA) department demonstrated functional and aesthetic breakthroughs in its Design Showcase. TECHNOVA, the presentation by the Apparel Production/Technology department, focused on technical prowess and industry-ready solutions, and BOTTOMLINE by Fashion Management Studies offered insights into strategic thinking and business acumen in fashion.
The day culminated with FASHIONOVA, a striking fashion show that brought to the runway original collections designed by graduating students from the Fashion Design department. An Award Ceremony followed, honouring exceptional achievements across disciplines.
The event drew a distinguished audience of professionals from the fashion, design, textile, and retail industries, providing graduates an invaluable platform to connect with industry leaders and showcase their creative vision.
