Nitish Government Reshuffles IAS Officers in Bihar: Pratyaya Amrit New Development Commissioner

Patna: The Nitish government has enacted a significant reshuffle of IAS officers, resulting in the removal of Chaitanya Prasad from the position of Development Commissioner. He has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Investigation Commissioner. Pratyay Amrit will take over as the new Development Commissioner while also retaining his role as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health and Disaster Management Department.

In this latest reshuffle, Mihir Kumar Singh, previously the Additional Chief Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department, has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Road Construction Department, relieving him of his duties as Chief Investigation Commissioner. Additionally, Narmadeshwar Lal, Principal Secretary of the Sugarcane Industry Department, has been assigned the role of Principal Secretary-cum-Mines Commissioner of the Mining Department.

Divesh Sahara has been appointed as the Secretary of the Panchayati Raj Department, while Dharmendra Singh, Secretary of the Cooperative Department, has been relieved of his additional charge of the Mines and Elements Department. Furthermore, B. Karthikeya Dhan Ji, Secretary of the Road Construction Department, has been given the additional responsibility of Secretary of the Sugarcane Industry Department.
