Nitish Kumar’s Surprise Delhi Visit Fuels Speculation Amid JP Nadda’s Bihar Trip
Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made an unexpected trip to Delhi this morning, sparking widespread speculation in political circles. His sudden departure happened on the next fay of the visit of BJP National President JP Nadda to Bihar, who held meetings with party and organisation leaders in Patna. However, Nadda did not meet with the chief minister during his trip.
There are rumours that Nitish’s visit to Delhi could involve meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, with seat-sharing for upcoming elections reportedly on the agenda. The talks may include discussions about the Jharkhand Assembly elections, where the JD (U) is contesting. AJSU leader Sudesh Mahto, already in Delhi, is in negotiations with the BJP over seat allocation, adding to the speculation that Nitish’s trip could be politically significant.
Meanwhile, some reports suggest that the chief minister is in Delhi for a medical visit to AIIMS, where he is receiving treatment for an eye condition. Nitish is expected to return to Patna on Monday.
