
Patna: Leading figures in Bhojpuri cinema, including Akshara Singh and Pawan Singh, have publicly lauded the Indian Army’s reported operation targeting locations in Pakistan. The action, dubbed ‘Operation Sindoor’, follows a recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
News of the operation broke this morning, prompting a wave of reactions across India. Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh shared a powerful message on her Instagram account, stating, “Sindoor is not just a line drawn on the forehead of women, you tried to erase our sindoor in Sindh, now see it flying in the sky like fire. This red is not for beauty.”
Fellow Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav reportedly posted on X, suggesting that celebratory sirens should be sounded. Pawan Singh, often referred to as the power star of the Bhojpuri film industry, also took to X, writing, “When the country calls, the army of Jai Hind is always ready to give its blood. Operation Sindoor is not just a mission, it is a new story of India’s bravery. Salute to our soldiers… Bharat Mata ki Jai, Jai Hind.”
Actor and politician Ravi Kishan also reportedly shared his support on X, writing, “Jai Hind, Jai Hind ki Army.”
