
Patna: Patna’s Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport is set to usher in a new era tonight as its state-of-the-art new terminal building becomes fully operational. The older terminal will close its doors permanently as all services transition to the modern facility.
Dr. S. Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Department, inspected the new terminal with officials today, giving the final directive for its full activation after midnight. The first flight to land at the new terminal will be an Indigo flight from Bengaluru, expected around 6:30 AM on Tuesday.
During his inspection, Dr. Siddharth held a meeting with top officials, issuing several important instructions to ensure a seamless transition and efficient operation of the new facility. This move marks a significant upgrade in passenger experience and operational capacity for Patna’s airport.
