PATNA – Responding to the intensifying cold wave in the capital city, the IAS Officers’ Wives Association in Bihar undertook a significant initiative today by distributing blankets, sweaters, and caps among the needy at various locations in Patna. Approximately 100 elderly residents residing at Miller High School and Gulzarbagh Old Age Home in Patna City were beneficiaries of this distribution.
During the distribution, prominent members of the IAS Officers’ Wives Association, including Alka Singh, Harjot Kaur, Jasmin Chaudhary, Rashmi Rekha, Dr. Manjari, and Dr. Abha Singh, were present. The objective behind this distribution in Bihar, where the cold is on the rise, was to assist the disadvantaged and elderly individuals in coping with the chilling temperatures.
The IAS Officers’ Wives Association’s compassionate gesture aims to alleviate the impact of the cold weather and provide much-needed support to those vulnerable to the harsh winter conditions in Bihar.
