Vande Bharat to Run Between Saharsa and Sealdah, Benefitting Passengers in Bihar

PATNA – Vande Bharat is set to operate from Patna to Ayodhya, extending all the way to Lucknow, with Prime Minister Modi expected to signal the commencement.

The Patna-Ayodhya train brings exciting news for devotees, as the Vande Bharat Express will now connect Patna to Lucknow via Ayodhya, providing an excellent travel option for pilgrims returning from Ayodhya to Lucknow. The inauguration of this service, anticipated in January of the upcoming year, may see Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the event. The train is also scheduled to make a stop in Ara.

Railway authorities have initiated preparations to operate the Patna Ayodhya Vande Bharat Train, with surveys currently in progress. There is a possibility of an additional halt for this train in Ara.

Railway sources indicate that the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is expected to result in a significant increase in the number of devotees traveling from Bihar to Ayodhya. In light of this, the railway has taken the decision to extend the Vande Bharat Train service to Ayodhya.

This train will serve as a convenient option for devotees from Lucknow returning to Ayodhya. The inauguration of this service is likely to occur in January next year, officiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In the Lok Sabha, a Member of Parliament raised the matter of the Bihata-Aurangabad rail project, spanning 128 kilometers and benefitting people in four Lok Sabha constituencies. The MP urged the government to allocate funds for its speedy completion.

At Phesar station in the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Mandal, the railway has decided to introduce a two-minute halt for the Doon Express. The Doon Express, operating between Hawra and Rishikesh, will have the additional halt starting on Fridays.
