Patna Women’s College Champions Environmental Conservation with Tree Plantation Drive
Patna: Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, Patna University, took a significant step towards environmental conservation by organizing a tree plantation drive on Thursday. The event took place at Dhandhana Chak, Nisarpura, in Patna District and was spearheaded by the college’s Eco Task Force and Shristi Club.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Dean of Science and Head of the Department of Zoology; Alok John, Dean of National and International Collaborations and Consultancy Services; Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology; and Tulika Kumari, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography.
This initiative is part of Patna Women’s College’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental conservation and increase green cover. The college aims to raise awareness about the importance of preserving nature both among students and the local community.
