Patna Women’s College Hosts Canva Training for Students in Graphic Design

Patna: Patna Women’s College, under the auspices of Patna University’s Commerce and Management Club, conducted a hands-on training session in Canva, aimed at equipping students with practical design skills for professional graphics and presentations. The event, held on January 23, focused on imparting essential digital design skills to students, preparing them for both academic and professional challenges.

The session was coordinated by Mr Gautam Saurabh, Coordinator of Kaizen, the Commerce and Management Club, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, along with Ms Yosha Singh, Co-Coordinator of Kaizen and Assistant Professor in the Department of Advertising and Marketing Management. Together, they introduced participants to the powerful features and functionalities of Canva, a popular graphic design tool.

The training, attended by Ms Sagarika and Ms Neha, both Assistant Professors in the Department of Commerce, allowed students to explore various Canva tools, including template creation, flyer design, and branding techniques. The instructors emphasized the significance of design skills in the realms of commerce and management, encouraging students to apply these tools for both personal and professional development.

A key highlight of the session was the interactive, project-based approach, where students engaged in real-time design projects, fostering creativity and collaboration. The program was facilitated by Sania Ambreen, Joint General Secretary of Kaizen, who guided participants through the intricacies of design work, offering valuable feedback as students showcased their final designs.

The event underscored the growing importance of digital design in today’s business landscape, providing students with hands-on experience and insights into the creative possibilities within the corporate world. It was an enriching experience that combined technical expertise with practical application, enhancing the skill sets of all attendees.
