Patna: To enhance Patna Municipal Corporation’s performance in the Swachh Survey 2025, various initiatives are being taken, including cleanliness and beautification drives. As part of these efforts, the general public will be made aware of cleanliness through Patangotsav, scheduled to take place on February 3 and 4 at JP Setu Ghat in Digha. Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitin Nabin will inaugurate the event.
The Patangotsav will focus on the theme of 3R – Reuse, Reduce, and Recycling – to spread awareness about cleanliness and waste management. Through this initiative, people will be educated about the importance of recycling and motivated to separate dry and wet waste as part of Mission Total Segregation.
The event will see participation from school and college students, as well as various voluntary organizations. This unique celebration aims to combine the joy of kite flying with the critical message of cleanliness and sustainable waste management.
