Patna Women’s College Hosts Heartwarming Eid Celebration to Promote Unity and Culture

Patna: Patna Women’s College marked the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Fitr on Wednesday, with a vibrant and inclusive get-together that brought faculty members from across departments together to celebrate the spirit of community, unity, and cultural harmony. The event, titled “Jashn-e-Eid”, was held at the college cafeteria and aimed to foster mutual respect and camaraderie among staff, reinforcing the values of compassion and gratitude that define the festival.

Under the guidance of Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal of Patna Women’s College, the celebration saw faculty members share smiles, stories, and festive meals, creating a sense of togetherness that transcended the academic environment. The atmosphere was charged with the energy of Eid as colleagues, united by both professional bonds and a shared spirit of festivity, gathered to enjoy the occasion.

A collective effort led to the seamless arrangement of the celebration, with teachers from various departments contributing their time and energy. The culinary highlight of the event was a delicious Biryani, made with love and enthusiasm by the organizing team. This dish, alongside Sewai (a traditional sweet dish), added to the homely, celebratory atmosphere that pervaded the gathering.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, with contributions from Dr. Aprajita Krishna, Dr. Awdhesh Kumar, Dr. Tauseef Hassan, Ms. Manisha Prasad, Dr. Zareen Fatima, Dr. Shazia Rahman, Dr. Urvashi Sinha, and others. Together, they not only crafted the food but also ensured the celebration was a joyous success.
