Patna: Patna Women’s College (PWC) on Thursday organised an interactive session on “Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Reasoning”, aimed at equipping students with essential analytical and problem-solving skills. The session, hosted by the Commerce and Management Club in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, focused on preparing students for competitive exams and professional challenges.
Dr Ravi Kumar, head of the Department of Mathematics, served as the resource person, offering expert insights into mastering quantitative aptitude and verbal reasoning. His practical approach and engaging delivery enhanced the learning experience for attendees.
The event was coordinated by Gautam Saurabh, assistant professor in the Department of Commerce and coordinator of Kaizen, the Commerce and Management Club. It was attended by faculty members Sagarika Upadhyay and Puja Kumari from the Department of Commerce. Arshi Khan, president of the Commerce and Management Club, moderated the session, while Nadia Nadeem, the club’s treasurer, delivered the vote of thanks.
Saurabh commended the active participation of students and the valuable insights shared by Kumar, emphasising the importance of such sessions in strengthening analytical and reasoning abilities. The interactive format encouraged student engagement, fostering critical thinking and confidence.
Students expressed appreciation for the opportunity to develop a structured approach to aptitude tests, describing the session as insightful and beneficial for their academic and career aspirations.
