Patna: The Department of Microbiology at Patna Women’s College recently conducted a comprehensive two-day workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday, focusing on the theme of “Genetic Transformation of Pseudomonas sp.” The workshop catered to students enrolled in B.Sc. Microbiology Honours semester IV and semester VI.

The workshop delved into the intricacies of genetic transformation within Pseudomonas sp., with a particular emphasis on the procedures involved in creating competent cells, transforming these cells with plasmid DNA, and calculating transformation efficiency.
