Patna Women’s College Launches Commerce and Management Club “KAIZEN”

Patna: Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, officially launched its Commerce and Management Club, “KAIZEN,” aimed at fostering continuous growth in the fields of commerce and management. The inauguration ceremony took place on October 4, 2024, with faculty, students, and dignitaries in attendance.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp led by the chief guest, Dr. Soofia Fatima, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management and Head of the Department of Commerce, along with Dr. Pallawi Ambreesh Kumar, Head of the Department of Business Administration; Dr. Shazia Rahman, Head of the Department of Advertising and Marketing Management; and CS Shweta Shah, Coordinator of Commerce Professional. The unveiling of the KAIZEN Club logo by Dr. Fatima was a key highlight of the event.
Mr. Gautam Saurabh, Assistant Professor and Club Coordinator, presented the vision and future activities of the club, emphasizing its focus on continuous improvement in both academics and business practices. In her inaugural address, Dr. Fatima spoke about the significance of the “Kaizen” philosophy, encouraging students to embrace this mindset in their academic and professional journeys. Ms. Yosha Singh, Co-Coordinator and Assistant Professor from the Department of Advertising and Marketing Management, outlined the club’s goals and its role in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
The event was moderated by Ms. Arshi Khan and Ms. Sania Ambreen, both students from Semester V. The vote of thanks was given by Ms. Aditi Sahi, also a Semester V student. The program concluded with the national anthem, marking the official start of KAIZEN’s mission to nurture talent at the college.
