Patna Zoo and City Parks Gear Up for New Year with Extended Ticket Counters
Patna: Patna Zoo and city parks are gearing up for a large influx of visitors for New Year celebrations. To manage the expected crowds, the zoo administration will open 12 additional ticket counters, while the park administration will open eight counters at Eco Park. Tickets will be available from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Patna Zoo Director Hemant Patil has instructed staff, including rangers, foresters, and guards, to remain vigilant. Entry will be monitored closely at all gates, including gate numbers one and two, and the electronic gate. Similarly, the park administration will deploy 100 personnel for security and crowd control.
Visitors to 40 city parks, including Eco Park, Veer Kunwar Singh Park, Punaichak Park, Naveen Sinha Park, Shivaji Park, Amrit Park, and McDowell Park, will need to purchase tickets from the park administration.
On January 1, entry fees at 15 parks, including Eco Park, Veer Kunwar Singh Park, and Shivaji Park, will be increased by 50%. This increased fee will remain in effect for one year.
