PM Modi Distributes 51,000 Appointment Letters Nationwide, 533 in East Central Railway Jurisdiction

Patna: Altogether 533 persons were handed over appointment letters for the Railways and other ministries at employment fairs organized in Hajipur, Patna, Dhanbad, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar within the jurisdiction of the East Central Railway (ECR) on Saturday.
The appointment letters were distributed as a part of nationwide event, whereon Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly appointed employees across 37 cities in the country. The ceremony, held through video conferencing, also saw Prime Minister Modi address the freshly appointed staff.
This employment fair represents a resolute step towards realizing the Prime Minister’s dedication to prioritizing employment generation. It is anticipated that the fair will catalyze further job opportunities and provide meaningful prospects for the nation’s youth, empowering them to participate in national development, a statement from railways stated.
“Altogether 81 appointment letters were distributed in Hajipur, 81 in Patna, 133 in Dhanbad, and 147 in Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar,” ECR’s central public relations officer (CPRO) Birendra Kumar said.
The event at Hajipur featured the presence of distinguished guests, including Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Pashupati Kumar Paras; MLA, Lakhendra Kumar Roshan; and MLC, Bhushan Rai.
In Mahendrughat, Patna, the event was graced by Union Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh; MP, Vivek Thakur; MLC, Kundan Kumar; and Bihar BJP state president, Samrat Chaudhary.
Meanwhile, at the Railway Auditorium in Dhanbad, Union Minister of State for Consumer, Food, Public Distribution Ashwini Kumar Choubey, and MP, P.N. Singh offered their support.
The Ministers expressed profound gratitude to PM Modi for this transformative initiative and extended their best wishes to the newly appointed employees for a bright future.
This event holds particular significance as India commemorates 75 years of independence, underscoring the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to youth employment and citizen welfare. In line with the Prime Minister’s directives, all ministries and departments, including Railways, are working diligently to fill sanctioned posts and address existing vacancies as part of a mission to provide employment opportunities to the nation’s youth, the Railways stated.
