PM Modi to Inaugurate New Patna Airport Terminal, Lay Foundation Stone for Bihta Airport in April

Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Patna in April to inaugurate the new terminal building at Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport and lay the foundation stone for Bihta Airport, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced on Sunday. The visit will also include the launch of several other development projects.

The new terminal at Patna Airport has been constructed to accommodate the increasing number of passengers and improve facilities.

In addition to the Patna Airport expansion, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for Bihta Airport, addressing a long-standing demand for a second airport to ease congestion in the state capital.

Speaking at the BJP office, Samrat said the Prime Minister had been invited to Bihar and had confirmed his visit. “The PM and CM are fully committed to Bihar’s development, and Bihar has always been a priority for the NDA,” he said, adding that PM Modi will also inaugurate and launch multiple projects across the state.

The Deputy CM also praised the Bihar government’s budget for 2025-26, highlighting its focus on infrastructure and economic growth.
