Patna: Patna gears up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s forthcoming road show on Sunday with elaborate arrangements in place, including a specially designed hi-tech luxury vehicle set to accompany the procession. Notably, the design includes provisions for optimal air conditioning, even when the PM is standing, along with well-appointed seating arrangements and efficient lighting.

The road show, spanning a distance of four and a half kilometers from JP Golambar to various key points, will see the Prime Minister traversing through Patna’s streets. To ensure seamless execution, rehearsals are underway along the designated route, with comprehensive security measures in place.

In anticipation of the event, stringent traffic regulations have been imposed, including a ban on trucks, tractors, and other goods vehicles along the road show route from Saturday night to Monday morning. Additionally, access to VVIP areas will be restricted, with penalties for violators.

Law enforcement authorities are on high alert, with 3,000 policemen, supplemented by additional forces and Rapid Action Force personnel, deployed along the route. Stringent measures are in place to prevent unauthorized entry or disruption, with soldiers stationed at regular intervals and thorough investigations underway.

In a heartening gesture, local artist Joginder Kumar has crafted a special mask using traditional elements, intending to present it to the Prime Minister. Comprising cow dung, ghee, Shami leaves, dried flower powder, and mango leaves, the mask bears the inscription ‘Modi ji’ inside, reflecting Kumar’s earnest desire for the PM’s acceptance.
