Police Visit RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav’s Bungalow Ahead of Bihar Floor Test
Patna: As the much-anticipated floor test of Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar loomed closer, Sunday evening saw heightened suspense in the political corridors of Patna, reaching its peak with a contingent of Bihar police arriving at the bungalow of RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
Sources revealed that the police responded to a missing complaint filed by the brother of RJD MLA Chetan Anand, stating that Chetan was unaccounted for. Notably, all RJD MLAs had been sequestered at Tejashwi’s bungalow since Saturday in anticipation of the floor test.
Upon the police team’s arrival at Tejashwi’s residence, several senior officers from Patna police were escorted inside by a few RJD MLAs. After a brief interaction, the officers emerged from the bungalow, and the police team departed. Sources indicated that Chetan reassured the police that he was staying at Tejashwi’s bungalow willingly.
While the police investigation concluded, a sizable crowd of RJD supporters congregated outside Tejashwi’s bungalow, chanting slogans against CM Nitish and the police.
