Patna: Prashant Kishore, the strategist behind Jan Suraj Abhiyan, launched a sharp attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the BJP-led government. Kishore claimed that Nitish is more focused on retaining power than on addressing Bihar’s development needs, adding that the BJP is compelled to keep him in power to maintain its government in Delhi.
According to Kishore, Nitish Kumar is not advocating for industries or development projects in Bihar, despite his proximity to the Prime Minister. He criticized the Chief Minister for not demanding factories in districts like Motihari, Chapra, and Gopalganj, even though the strength of Bihar’s political support is crucial to the central government.
Kishore further alleged that Nitish Kumar is primarily concerned with political maneuvering rather than taking meaningful steps to uplift the state. He emphasized that dissatisfaction among the people of Bihar with Nitish’s leadership is growing and will become evident in the upcoming elections.
In his statement, Kishore urged the public to reflect on whether they have seen Nitish Kumar push for industrialization in Bihar. He warned that in the next election, the people of Bihar will deliver a decisive verdict, closing all avenues for Nitish to return to power.
