Patna: SRK Music’s much-anticipated Bhojpuri film “Rang De Basanti,” produced by Roshan Singh and starring superstar Khesarilal Yadav, is slated for release in cinemas across Bihar and UP on 7th June. To mark the occasion, a grand premiere was held today at PVR Inox, Patna City Center. The event saw the attendance of key figures from the film, including producer Roshan Singh, director Premanshu Singh, and stars Khesarilal Yadav, Rati Pandey, Diana Khan, and others.

Speaking at the premiere, producer Roshan Singh described “Rang De Basanti” as the biggest Bhojpuri film to date, promising unparalleled entertainment for the audience. He urged the people of Bihar to watch the film, emphasizing its release in PVR multiplexes as a significant milestone. Director Premanshu Singh echoed this sentiment, calling the film “great cinema” and urging every viewer to experience it in theatres.

Star Khesarilal Yadav highlighted the film’s unique storyline that promotes messages of diversity, harmony, and unity. He expressed satisfaction that Bhojpuri films are finally being showcased in multiplexes, hoping this would garner the respect the language deserves. He encouraged audiences to enjoy the film in their native language in modern theatres like Inox.

Renowned TV actress Rati Pandey, also featured in the film, predicted that “Rang De Basanti” would set new benchmarks in Bhojpuri cinema. She spoke about the extensive effort put into the production and urged especially female viewers to support the film. Bollywood actress Diana Khan added her praise, appealing to the audience to make the film a super hit.

“Rang De Basanti,” directed by Premanshu Singh, boasts a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bhattacharya, Firoz Khan, and many others. The film’s story is penned by Manoj Kushwaha, with music by Om Jha and lyrics by noted writers like Pyarelal Yadav and Arvind Tiwari.
