Preparations Finalized for Cooch Behar Trophy Match at Patna’s Moinul Haque Stadium
Patna: The stage is set for the Cooch Behar Trophy match, scheduled to take place from 20 to 23 November at Moinul Haque Stadium in Patna. Both teams engaged in rigorous practice sessions on Tuesday, fine-tuning their skills in batting, bowling, and fielding ahead of the four-day encounter.
Match referee N Arjun Yadav, along with umpires Dharmesh Kumar Bhardwaj and Milind Bhatt from the BCCI, have arrived in Patna to oversee the event. Senior video analyst Abhishek Yadav, video analyst Mrityunjay Sharma, online scorer Nitesh Kumar, and manual scorer Abhinav Kumar have been assigned to ensure smooth operations. Ajit Pandey will serve as the ACLU for the match, assisted by umpire Rajiv Nandan Singh.
The Bihar team, led by captain Mo Alam and vice-captain Vasudev Prasad Singh, includes Aditya Sinha, Gautam Kumar, Prithvi Raj, Anubhav Singh, Parth, wicketkeepers Mo Taufiq and Ayush Raj, Kumar Tejaswi Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, Satyam Kumar, Suman Kumar, Badal Kumar, Agastya, Nitesh Gulli, Aditya Raj, Suryam Raj, Shashwat Giri, Ayush Kumar Singh, Deepesh Kumar Gupta, and Aarav Jha. Supporting the squad are coach Sanjay Kumar, assistant coach Md. Rahmatullah, physio Md. Shahwaz Ahmed Khan, trainer Abhishek Kumar, and manager Manish Anand.
The Jharkhand team features Brajesh Dutta as captain and Tanish Chaubey as vice-captain, with players Vatshal Tiwari, Chaitanya Bir, Krish Sharma, Vivek Kumar, Sentu Kumar Yadav, Lakshya Kaushik, Vibhu Kumar, Gaurav Kumar, Prince Mishra, Ishan Om, Ryan Sapkota, Shivansh, Ayush Kumar, and Rohit Kumar.
