Patna: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited the residence of RJD leader Rabri Devi in Patna on Wednesday, holding discussions with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. The meeting is believed to have centered on electoral strategies ahead of the upcoming elections.

Before his visit to Rabri Devi’s residence, Gandhi interacted with students protesting against the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) preliminary examination.

Earlier in the day, a group of students met Gandhi at Hotel Chanakya, where he spent 22 minutes listening to their grievances. Following this, he visited the protest site at Gardanibagh, where BPSC candidates have been staging a demonstration for nearly a month.

The protesting candidates are demanding the complete cancellation of the BPSC preliminary examination, citing allegations of irregularities. Although Gandhi’s visit to the protest site was brief, he assured the students of his support.

“I stand with you. Wherever you need, you will find Rahul Gandhi standing by your side,” he assured the protesters.
