Rahul Gandhi’s Bihar Visit Postponed To June Due To Venue Unavailability In Rajgir

Rahul Gandhi’s Bihar tour has been delayed to June due to the unavailability of a venue in Rajgir, where he was scheduled to meet students from backward communities.

Patna: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s planned visit to Bihar has been postponed to June after the scheduled venue in Rajgir was found to be unavailable this month. He was initially set to address the Samvidhan Suraksha Sabha and interact with students from backward communities in Nalanda district on May 27.

According to Manjeet Anand Sahu, a member of the Samvidhan Suraksha Sabha Organising Committee, the Rajgir International Convention Centre could not be secured in time. The event is now likely to take place in the second week of June, although an exact date is yet to be announced.

This will mark Gandhi’s fifth visit to Bihar in 2025, part of a continued outreach effort ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections. In January, he addressed the same conference at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna. His subsequent visits included events at SK Memorial Hall on February 5 and April 7, and a recent programme on May 15, during which he met students in Darbhanga and viewed the film Phule in Patna, a biopic on social reformer Jyotiba Phule.
