Rajesh Sharma of Bihar Wins Medal in World Skills Competition in France

Patna- Rajesh Sharma from Samastipur, Bihar, has made the state proud on the global stage by winning a medal in the cabinet-making category at the World Skills Competition held from September 10 to 15, 2024, in Lyon, France. His exceptional craftsmanship and skill have brought international recognition to Bihar.
Rajesh had previously won a Gold Medal in the India Skill Competition 2024, which was held in Delhi from May 15 to 19. Competing against 1,400 participants from over 70 countries in France, Rajesh showcased his expertise and gave Bihar a new identity at the global level.
In his remarks, Rajesh expressed immense pride and gratitude. He thanked the Bihar Skill Development Mission and the Government of Bihar for their support throughout his journey. He described this achievement as a moment of pride not just for himself but for the entire state.
