Muzaffarpur: In a major anti-human trafficking operation, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued 33 children from child labour at Muzaffarpur Junction on Monday. The children were being trafficked to Chennai, Visakhapatnam, and Kolkata by the Muzaffarpur-Yeshwantpur Express.

The operation, conducted under “Operation Aahat,” was led by RPF Inspector Manish Kumar. During a routine check at the station, the team intercepted five traffickers who were transporting the children for forced labour in car wash services and hotels. Following an initial interrogation, both the children and the accused were taken to the GRP police station for further action.
