Second Day of State Level Youth Festival 2024 Celebrates Art, Culture, and Innovation in Lakhisarai

Lakhisarai: The second day of the State Level Youth Festival 2024, organized by the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth, Government of Bihar, along with the District Administration, Lakhisarai, witnessed vibrant cultural and scientific activities at Gandhi Maidan and other venues. Youth from across Bihar showcased their talents in music, drama, and innovation, captivating audiences throughout the day.
At the main pandal in Gandhi Maidan, a group singing competition saw participants perform traditional folk songs representing districts like Samastipur, Aurangabad, Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur. Judges, including music experts from Begusarai and Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir, evaluated the performances, which highlighted Bihar’s rich cultural heritage.
A science exhibition at Gandhi Maidan drew attention with innovative projects from engineering students. Highlights included a fire-fighting robot, a women’s safety smart shoe, an air pollution converter, and a smart zebra crossing. The inventive solutions demonstrated the creativity and technical expertise of Bihar’s youth.
The town hall hosted a short drama competition, where young actors from various districts presented compelling performances. The results of the competition, submitted to the district administration in a sealed envelope, will be announced from the main stage on the festival’s final day.
With enthusiastic participation from youth across the state and support from district officials, the festival continues to inspire and empower the younger generation to contribute to society through their cultural and scientific endeavors.
