Security Heightened in Patna Ahead of Ram Lalla Consecration Program in Ayodhya

Patna: The Patna police are on high alert as the consecration program of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya approaches. Stringent security measures have been implemented throughout the city, with a flag march organized under the leadership of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in the Kotwali police station area.

The consecration ceremony for Ram Lalla is scheduled for Monday, January 22, with thousands of devotees, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expected to participate in the event. The Pran-Pratishtha program will be broadcast live from multiple locations in Patna. Devotees are anticipated to gather at key intersections, such as Dakbungalow, adding to the need for heightened security measures.

In response, the police have increased security, deploying forces at all intersections and closely monitoring the activities of anti-social elements. Surveillance efforts include the use of CCTV cameras, with a special focus on monitoring through the Integrated Command and Control Centre. The Dial-112 team is also on high alert to ensure swift response in case of any security concerns.

The administration’s proactive approach aims to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the consecration program, considering the significant religious and political figures expected to attend the event.
