Shravani Mela: Now Special Train Services from Patna, Gaya, Jaynagar and Raxaul

Special Train to Run Between Gaya and Ranchi for Technician Exam Candidates

Patna: Indian Railways has announced the operation of several special trains from Patna, Gaya, Jaynagar, and Raxaul to facilitate pilgrims traveling to Deoghar for the Shravani Mela. This initiative aims to enhance convenience during the holy month of Shravan.

Special trains will run from Patna, Gaya, and Jaynagar to Deoghar, ensuring seamless connectivity for devotees. Additionally, a new route from Raxaul to Deoghar will be introduced, with trains operating three days a week—Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays—departing at 05:15 hrs. This new service will enhance accessibility for pilgrims from that region.

A special train originating from Saraigarh will now pass through Supaul, Saharsa, Manasi, Khagaria, Munger, Sultanganj, and Bhagalpur before reaching Deoghar. This service, aimed at streamlining the journey for travelers from Saraigarh, will depart daily at 03:05 hrs and arrive at 11:30 hrs.

Further initiatives include a special service from Patna to Madhupur, operational until August 20. This train will depart Patna daily at 23:10 hrs and reach Jasidih by 04:10 hrs, facilitating travel for devotees in that region.

For North Bihar passengers, a special train will run from Jaynagar to Asansol three times a week—Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—until August 20, offering a vital link during the festive season.

To accommodate the high demand during the Shravani Mela, a dedicated train will operate from Asansol to Patna twice weekly. This train will depart Asansol on Mondays and Wednesdays at 16:50 hrs and return from Patna at 01:15 hrs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a stop at Jasidih.

Additionally, a special service between Danapur and Sahibganj will run every Sunday from July 28 to August 25. This train will depart Danapur at 05:25 hrs and reach Sahibganj by 13:15 hrs, with return trips scheduled at 15:15 hrs from Sahibganj, stopping at key stations en route.

Moreover, the Gaya-Madhupur Special train will now halt briefly at Warisliganj, providing added convenience for passengers. This stoppage will enable seamless transfers for those journeying to Madhupur during the festive rush.
