Bhagalpur: A special agricultural chaupal was organised today at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Sabour, Bhagalpur, aimed at equipping farmers with knowledge of advanced farming techniques. The event, held on Saturday, featured a live broadcast to ensure wider reach and accessibility for farmers.
During the programme, subject matter specialists from KVK provided in-depth information on various modern agricultural practices, with a particular focus on makhana cultivation. Experts explained how adopting these innovative methods could significantly boost crop productivity and enhance income for farmers.
A total of 68 farmers attended the chaupal in person. They had the opportunity to engage directly with the experts, asking questions and receiving tailored guidance on issues related to their farming practices. This interactive session helped bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and grassroots application.
Staff members of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra were also actively involved in organising and facilitating the event. Their contribution was instrumental in ensuring the success of the programme.
These efforts are part of a broader strategy of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sabour, to empower farmers through education, innovation, and direct engagement.
