St. Karen’s High School Hosts CBSE-Led Training Programme for Master Trainers

Patna: St. Karen’s High School, in collaboration with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Centre of Excellence (COE) Patna and the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), has successfully concluded a two-day certification course aimed at training educational leaders across India.

The event, held on September 13 and 14, welcomed 1,500 participants, including principals, vice-principals, coordinators, and senior teachers, from various educational institutions. The course, titled “Training for Trainers” (ToT), is part of a larger national effort to raise educational standards and is aligned with India’s vision for 2047.

Ravi Prakash, head of CBSE COE Patna, led the initiative, with a focus on imparting cutting-edge training methodologies to enhance the quality of education leadership. A distinguished panel of experts guided participants through the sessions. Key speakers included Karamjeet Singh Sodhi, academic coordinator at the Directorate of Education, Delhi, and CBSE master trainer, alongside Tej Krishen Razdan, a DoPT trainer specialising in development, mentoring, and needs analysis.

Other contributors were Namita Malik, joint director of behavioural training at ISTM, and Sharad Nautiyal, another DoPT master trainer. Their sessions addressed vital topics designed to strengthen educational leadership and boost the capabilities of those training the nation’s educators.

A select group of 65 participants, who had been chosen through a rigorous selection process, successfully completed the course. These certified trainers are now set to return to their respective regions, where they will lead training programmes for teachers, ultimately contributing to the reform and growth of India’s educational landscape.
