St Michael’s High School Celebrates Thanksgiving Day With Prize Distribution and Cultural Performances
Patna: St Michael’s High School marked its Thanksgiving Day with a celebration of gratitude, reflection, and achievements, highlighting the blessings the school has received over the past year. The event’s key moments included the prize distribution for meritorious students from the 2023-24 session and a focus on instilling values of gratitude and compassion.
The ceremony began with the welcome of Chief Guest Fr (Dr) Prakash Louis, S.J., Director of Xavier Institute of Social Research (XISR), alongside other dignitaries. An interfaith scripture reading followed, setting a reflective tone for the event.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr A Christu Savarirajan, S.J., praised the dedication of teachers, parents, and students, acknowledging their role in the school’s success. The event featured a prayer song and a special play where students expressed gratitude and appreciation through performances.
A key highlight of the event was the prize distribution ceremony for the Olympiad winners. St Michael’s High School introduced the Olympiad this year, conducting it in two phases, and concluded it with awards for excellence across various subjects.
The event concluded with the national anthem, bringing the celebrations to a close.
