St Xavier’s College Celebrates Republic Day with Patriotism and Purpose
Patna: St Xavier’s College of Management & Technology celebrated India’s 77th Republic Day with a spirited program that brought together faculty, students, and distinguished guests to honour the nation’s democratic values and heritage.
The event commenced at 9 am with the unfurling of the national flag, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem, a moment that resonated with unity and pride. A brief introduction followed, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day and its role in shaping India’s democratic ethos.
The Xavier Dhwani Club set a patriotic tone with a stirring musical performance that inspired a sense of national pride among attendees. This was followed by Samvaad, a thought-provoking discussion session encouraging dialogue on topics of national importance.
The college welcomed retired Registrar General of the Patna High Court, Mr Manoj Kumar Sinha, as the chief guest. In his address, Mr Sinha highlighted the enduring values of the Constitution and called on the youth to play an active role in building a progressive India.
A special segment of Samvaad featured insights from Mr Raja Ravish Kumar, who shared his perspectives on pressing contemporary issues and their impact on society.
The event concluded with a vibrant cultural performance by the Xavier Dance Club, celebrating India’s rich traditions through dance. A vote of thanks brought the ceremony to a close, expressing gratitude to participants, organizers, and attendees for their contributions to the day’s success.
