State Initiative Advances Eco-Tourism in Bihar: Review Meeting Emphasizes Swift Development
Patna: In a concerted effort to bolster eco-tourism within the state, a comprehensive review meeting took place on Wednesday, presided over by Bandana Preyashi, Secretary of the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Department. The meeting, attended by key officials, aimed to propel eco-tourism initiatives forward, emphasizing the need for expeditious development in proposed eco-tourism areas and an enhancement of public facilities in existing eco-sports destinations.
Secretary Preyashi, in her role as the chairperson, provided clear directives during the meeting, urging a swift pace in the implementation of eco-tourism projects. The focus was not only on new ventures but also on improving amenities and services in the already operational eco- tourism areas.
The distinguished attendees included Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force) Ashutosh, Special Secretary Kanwal Tanuj, and Chief Wildlife Warden Prabhat Kumar Gupta, alongside other senior officials from the department. The collaborative effort demonstrated a commitment to sustainable tourism practices and the preservation of the state’s natural assets.
