Tool Kits and Study Kits Distributed to Youth in Patna Under Bihar Labor Resource Department Initiative

Patna: The Bihar Labor Resource Department organized a distribution program for tool kits and study kits to support unemployed youth in becoming self-reliant on Monday. The event took place at the Niyojan Bhavan in Patna. Labor Resource Department Secretary Deepak Anand distributed tool kits to 16 trained candidates for self-employment and study kits to 33 candidates preparing for competitive exams.

During the event, Secertary Anand stated that this initiative would provide crucial support to youth from economically weaker backgrounds who aspire to achieve success through hard work and dedication. He emphasized that while the tool kits would help individuals establish their own businesses, the study kits would assist in preparing for government job examinations. He also highlighted that the department’s objective is not just to provide employment but to empower youth to become self-sufficient. The study kits contain essential books related to competitive exams, while the tool kits were provided to those who have undergone technical training, enabling them to utilize their skills for independent work.

As part of the initiative, the Special Employment Office for Persons with Disabilities in Patna distributed 12 tool kits, and the University Employment Information and Guidance Center in Patna distributed 11 study kits.

The scheme benefits only those whose annual family income is less than Rs. 1,80,000 and who are registered with the Employment Office. This initiative is particularly beneficial for youth who lack the resources to prepare for competitive exams or start their own businesses. The event was attended by Directorate of Employment Deputy Directors (Employment) Priyanka Kumari and Amrita Kumari, along with Ankit Raj.
