Tourism Minister inaugurates Tourism Department pavilion and food fair at Bihar Diwas in Patna

Patna: Tourism Minister Raju Kumar Singh inaugurated the pavilion of the Tourism Department and the food fair at the Bihar Diwas celebrations at Gandhi Maidan. Tourism Secretary Lokesh Kumar Singh was also present during the event, while Tourism Director Udayan Mishra welcomed the minister.

The minister informed that the Tourism Department’s pavilion features 3D replicas of Bihar’s major tourist attractions, offering visitors a glimpse of the state’s rich heritage. The replicas include Mahabodhi Temple Bodhgaya, Ghorakatora Rajgir, Nalanda University Nalanda, Vishwa Shanti Stupa Vaishali, Kesariya Stupa East Champaran, Sabhyata Dwar Patna, Lachhuad Jain Temple Jamui, Vishnupad Temple Gayaji, Mundeshwari Temple Kaimur, Mother Janaki Janmabhoomi Punauradham Sitamarhi, Chaurasan Shiv Temple Sasaram, Takht Shri Harimandir Patna Sahib, Kakolat Waterfall Nawada, Zoo and Nature Safari Rajgir, Odhani Dam Banka/Amvaman Lake, West Champaran, and Mandar Mountain and Ropeway of Banka.

After inaugurating the food fair, the minister toured the area and interacted with entrepreneurs showcasing Bihari cuisine, as well as visitors enjoying the culinary experience. The food fair is organized by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., offering a variety of traditional dishes.

Visitors are relishing authentic Bihari flavors, with stalls serving local delicacies such as Pua-Kheer, Bihari Litti-Chokha, and Khurma-Belgrami. The event highlights Bihar’s rich culinary heritage, attracting food enthusiasts from across the region.
