Truck Collision in Patna: One Driver Burnt Alive, Another Escapes

Patna: A fatal accident took place near Masadhi village in the Gaurichak police station area of Patna when two trucks collided head-on, resulting in a massive fire. One driver was burnt alive, while the other managed to escape by jumping from his vehicle.
According to the police, one truck was loaded with cement, while the other was carrying fruits. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to catch fire. Upon receiving the information, local police and fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and managed to control the blaze after a strenuous effort. However, by then, one of the drivers had succumbed to the fire.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, and the body has been sent to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Gaurichak police station in-charge Manish Kumar confirmed that the incident occurred due to a direct collision between the two trucks. “One driver was trapped inside and unfortunately lost his life. Investigations are underway to determine further details,” he said.
The police are now working to establish the identity of the deceased and are investigating the cause of the accident.
