Tushar Gandhi Visits Patna’s Bapu Tower Museum Honouring Mahatma Gandhi’s Legacy

Tushar Gandhi, great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, visits Bapu Tower Museum in Patna to explore exhibits on the freedom struggle and Gandhian philosophy.

Patna: Tushar Gandhi, great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, visited the Bapu Tower Museum in Gardnibagh, Patna, on Friday, where he toured exhibitions chronicling the life and philosophy of the Indian independence leader.

The museum features galleries with photographs, murals, audio-visual presentations and short films that trace Gandhi’s role in the freedom movement and the evolution of his ideas. Gandhi spent time exploring the displays and praised the museum’s efforts to present his great-grandfather’s life in what he described as an engaging and accessible manner. “It is heartening to see Bapu’s journey and ideals being depicted so vividly,” he said during the visit. He also reviewed state government initiatives inspired by Gandhian principles. Tushar Gandhi was welcomed by the museum director, Vinay Kumar, who presented him with a bouquet, a shawl and a commemorative memento. The event was also attended by deputy director Lalit Kumar Singh, special officer Neelima Sahu and other officials.
