Two Found Dead at Digha Ghat in Patna in Suspected Murder-Suicide

Patna: The bodies of a young man and woman were found at Janardhan Ghat at Digha along JP Ganga Path, popularly known as Marine Drive, in Patna on Friday, in what police suspect to be a murder-suicide.
The deceased man has been identified as Rahul Raj (20), a resident of Madhubani, while the woman’s identity is yet to be confirmed.
According to eyewitnesses, the two had been sitting at the ghat for some time before an argument broke out. Shortly after, Rahul allegedly shot the woman before turning the gun on himself. A katta (countrymade pistol) and a live cartridge were recovered from a bag found at the scene.
