Patna : The festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, will be celebrated on 3 February this year. Observed in the auspicious Revati Nakshatra and Siddha Yoga, the day is considered highly significant for new beginnings, including weddings, business ventures, and housewarming ceremonies. This year, the festival coincides with Ravi Yoga, further enhancing its spiritual importance.
Alongside Saraswati, Kamadeva, the god of love and desire, is also worshipped on this day. According to Hindu mythology, Kamadeva is believed to have awakened the universe from its silence by striking it with his flower-laden arrows, spreading love and energy. The festival is also linked to Lord Krishna’s son, Pradyumna, who is regarded as an incarnation of Kamadeva.
