Hajipur: The General Manager of East Central Railway, Chhatrasal Singh, convened a high-level meeting on Monday at the zonal headquarters in Hajipur, bringing together senior department heads for a comprehensive review of operational priorities.
Divisional Railway Managers from all five divisions participated in the discussions via video conferencing. The meeting focused on key performance areas including railway safety, punctuality of train services, freight loading, passenger amenities, and the progress of infrastructure development across the zone.
Chhatrasal Singh took stock of current initiatives related to passenger comfort and safety, and called for concrete steps to boost freight movement. He also underscored the need for close monitoring and acceleration of ongoing construction projects, particularly those linked to rail safety enhancements and capacity building. The meeting forms part of a broader effort to improve service delivery and operational efficiency across the East Central Railway network.
