Young Innovators Celebrate Success at IDE Bootcamp 2nd Edition at CIMP

Patna: The 2nd Edition (Phase II) of the IDE Bootcamp concluded with a grand valedictory session at the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), marking the end of five days of immersive workshops, expert-led sessions, and hands-on learning. The event brought together young innovators, industry leaders, and government officials to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship.

The boot camp, designed to cultivate the next generation of entrepreneurs, focused on key areas such as Design Thinking, Problem Identification, Prototyping, and Business Model Development. Participants, drawn from diverse backgrounds, were immersed in a range of interactive activities that aimed to transform their ideas into actionable business ventures.

The valedictory ceremony featured notable guests, including Professor (Dr.) Sunil Kumar, Associate Dean at CIMP; Abhishek Ranjan, Nodal Head & Innovation Officer at the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell; and Madan Mohan Sharan Singh, Nodal Head & Manager (IP & Technology Transfer) at AICTE, Ministry of Education and Innovation Cell, Government of India. Gauri Gopinath and Tejas Jadhav from the Wadhwani Foundation were also present, providing valuable insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In his address, Professor Sunil Kumar expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts that contributed to the success of the bootcamp. He also highlighted the importance of such initiatives in aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem. “Bootcamps like these play a pivotal role in empowering young innovators,” said Kumar, stressing the need for continued support for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Gauri Gopinath and Tejas Jadhav, both experts from the Wadhwani Foundation, shared crucial insights on the dynamics of startup growth, business sustainability, and funding strategies. They underscored the significance of mentorship and network-building for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Abhishek Ranjan invited participants to reflect on their experiences throughout the boot camp, praising CIMP for providing an exemplary platform for innovation. He encouraged the attendees to continue their entrepreneurial journeys with a focus on execution and scaling ideas.
A special recognition was given to Vivek Kashyap, Senior Administrative Officer at CIMP, for his exceptional organizational efforts, which contributed to the smooth running of the event.

Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh, Director of CIMP, also praised the boot camp’s success, saying, “Innovation is the key to progress, and it has been heartening to see the participants come together to tackle real-world challenges with creative solutions. This boot camp not only honed their entrepreneurial skills but also fostered a culture of collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking.”

Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer of CIMP, added, “The IDE Bootcamp has embodied the government’s vision of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. We are proud to be a part of this initiative and remain committed to providing a platform for young innovators to bring their ideas to life.”

The ceremony also witnessed the presentation of certificates to the top five exhibitors, as well as to the winner of the boot camp’s pitching session. The pitch competition, judged by a distinguished panel of over 15 experts from various industries, featured around 140 student participants.
