Young Man Shot Over Money Dispute in Patna City’s Alamganj Area

Patna: A young man was shot in the Bajrangpuri locality of Patna City, following a dispute over money. The victim, identified as Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Pallavi Nagar, was rushed to the hospital and later referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for better treatment. A shell was recovered from the crime scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and began scanning nearby CCTV footage. Mukesh, who sustained injuries in the attack, has reportedly identified the criminals involved.

According to Mukesh’s family, two criminals were involved in the shooting. Initially, Mukesh was admitted to Nalanda Medical College and Hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to PMCH.

Police Sub-Divisional Officer Sharad RS has confirmed the incident and stated that raids are being conducted to apprehend the suspects. “We are actively searching for the criminals and they will be arrested soon,” he assured.
