
Gayaji: A 26 year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by a group of villagers in the early hours in Jagdishpur village, located in the Mufassil police station area of Gaya district. The incident has sparked tension in the local community, with the victim’s family staging a protest and refusing to allow authorities to remove the body.
The victim has been identified as Roshan Kumar, a resident of the same village. Details surrounding the motive for the assault remain unclear, and police have yet to confirm what led to the fatal violence. According to initial reports, local residents are suspected to be involved in the assault. Following the incident, Roshan’s family reacted with anger and grief, accusing the police of inaction and demanding immediate justice. The protest quickly escalated, with family members and other villagers preventing the police from retrieving the body and calling for the arrest of those responsible.
