Siwan: A Bolero carrying 10 girls to their intermediate examination met with an accident near Guthni intersection on Wednesday after being hit by an uncontrolled truck from Mairwa.
According to reports, the girls were traveling from Guthni to VM Inter College when the speeding truck collided with their vehicle, leaving all of them injured.
Following the accident, the injured students were rushed to Guthni Community Health Center for first aid. Dr. Neeraj Kumar later referred them to Siwan Sadar Hospital for further treatment. They were transported via ambulance, and their condition is reported to be stable.
Among those injured are:
- Sonali Kumari (Father: Mahant Prajapati)
- Meetu Kumari (Father: Musafir Ram)
- Mausam Kumari Yadav (Father: Ramadhar Yadav)
- Ragini Kumari (Father: Harikrishna Bhagat)
- Anu Kumari (Father: Jitendra Ram)
- Other girls whose details are yet to be confirmed.
Guthni police station in-charge Vikas Kumar Singh stated that all the injured girls sustained minor injuries and are in stable condition. Meanwhile, police have launched a search operation to locate the truck driver, who fled the scene after the accident.
