303 Constables Appointed in Saharsa, DIG Announces New Recruitment Exam in July

DIG Manoj Kumar handed appointment letters to 303 newly selected constables in Saharsa and said another recruitment exam will be held in July.

Saharsa: A total of 303 newly appointed constables received their appointment letters during a grand ceremony held in Saharsa, on July 1. The event, organised at the district auditorium, was attended by DIG Manoj Kumar, SP Himanshu, and other senior police officials.

Among the newly appointed personnel were 160 male and 143 female constables. During the ceremony, the constables took two oaths – to perform their duties honestly and to uphold the prohibition law with full dedication.

“This large-scale appointment will strengthen the police force and improve law and order across the state,” DIG Manoj Kumar said. He added that appointment letters are being distributed to constables through similar programmes by DIG and SP level officers across Bihar.

He further announced that preparations for the next constable recruitment exam, scheduled for July, have been completed.

Other officials present included Sadar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Alok Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters-1) Dhirendra Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters-2) Kamlesh Kumar Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Omprakash, and several senior officers. At the conclusion of the event, the new constables were congratulated and wished success in their careers.
