Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave charts ambitious roadmap for state’s future
New Delhi: The second season of the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave, part of the Let’s Inspire Bihar initiative, was held successfully on Sunday at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The historic event brought together over 2,000 entrepreneurs, startups, and thought leaders from Bihar and the diaspora, culminating in the release of the ambitious Vision 2047 Document.
Launched in March 2021 by senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav, the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign aims to transform Bihar into a developed state by 2047, ensuring no one has to leave for education, employment, or healthcare. With over 150,000 volunteers across various chapters, the campaign is rooted in the principles of education, equality, and entrepreneurship. By 2028, it envisions creating five startups in every district, each generating over 100 jobs.
A call for unity and transformation
Addressing the packed audience, IPS Vaibhav, the campaign’s chief patron, delivered an impassioned speech urging people to rise above divisions and work towards Bihar’s resurgence. “We are not here as representatives of any caste, community, or religion, but as a unified force for Bihar’s development,” he said. He emphasized the importance of Bihar waking up from its stagnation, believing in its inherent potential, and reclaiming its historical and cultural legacy.
Highlighting the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence, Vaibhav proposed establishing centres of excellence for AI in Bihar’s districts. “Without overcoming societal divisions, we cannot dream of developing Bihar by 2047—or even by 2147,” he remarked.
Citing his own experiences as a top police officer in Bagaha and Rohtas, Vaibhav attributed success to community involvement and called for an entrepreneurial revolution as the cornerstone of Bihar’s progress. He urged individuals and organisations to collaborate with the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign, which has already partnered with groups such as the Private Schools & Children Welfare Association (representing over 25,000 schools), the Auto Rickshaw Union, Muzaffarpur, and the Sakhi Bahinpa Maithilani organisation, comprising 40,000+ women.
The audience, energized by his address, joined in chanting, “I will transform Bihar,” reaffirming their commitment to the campaign’s vision.
